ZF-Ecomid CV Transmission Celebrates a Double Anniversary
ZF-Ecomid 商用车变速器 庆祝双周年
ZF Transmission 庆祝双里程碑，在全球大约 生产了750，000台ZF-Ecomid自动排挡商用车变 速器,并2013年12月初就在其位于法国布泰翁 (Boutheon ) 工厂,达到了生产500,000台9 速变速器的目标。

ZF Transmission is celebrating a double milestone, having pro- duced about 750,000 ZF-Ecomid manual CV transmissions worldwide and reaching the 500,000th unit of the 9-speed transmission at its Bouthéon factory in France at the beginning of December 2013.
"750,000 Ecomid units worldwide are the result of stable production processes and high quality requirements at ZF. At the same time, the anniversary repre- sents the continued success of the fully synchronised manual transmission. We are proud of the fact that 500,000 ZF-Ecomid units have already made their way onto the road from Bouthéon alone," explains Winfried Gründler who is responsible for Truck and Van Driveline Technology at ZF's Commercial Vehicle Tech-
nology division.
The first ZF-Ecomid manual commercial vehicle transmission was launched in 1985 and was technically revised several times since then. The current version with nine gears was designed for medium-duty and heavy trucks with a torque range of between 1,100
and 1,300 Newton-metres.
Key features include a starting gear, the crawler, which makes fuel- efficient and cost-effective driving possible. Additionally, optional fea- tures such as the pneumatic Servoshift assistance and the Intarder transmission brake increase safety and operating comfort. In combi- nation with a wide range of PTOs, the ZF-Ecomid is able to fulfil all requirements.
