Truck & Bus News has released its final issue for 2020 and as usual it is packed full and the latest product innovations, contracts won and appointments in the Malaysian commercial vehicle sector

Truck & Bus News has now launched issue 5 for 2020 and with it telling the story of the commercial vehicle sector in Malaysia.

Ebusco has won the internationally renowned Automotive Brand Contest in the Commercial Vehicles category.

 

According to the latest figures released by the Malaysian Automotive Association only 35 commercial vehicles were produced in April with only 10 being sold.

 

According to a report in The Star, The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is making 13 more services available related to commercial vehicles as of May 11 as MCO measures begin to be lifted. The move doesn't spell good news for private vehicles though with their services being resumed at a later date.

 

Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group have signed a preliminary non-binding agreement to establish a new joint venture with the intention is to develop, produce and commercialise fuel cell systems for heavy-duty vehicle applications and other use cases.

 

According to figures released by the Malaysian Automotive Association, the year-on-year sales for commercial vehicles in Malaysia fell by 53% in March due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
